An Intimate Local Wedding with Stunning Photographs in the Lake District
Caroline and Cameron met at school in PE, apparently Caroline kicked him in the head (we’re assuming that was an accident!) 6 years later, Cameron proposed in The Lake District at Skelwith Bridge, Ambleside. They didn’t quite have the wedding they planned, but despite changing their original plans, they had a wonderful wedding and proved that LOVE ALWAYS WINS.
Caroline and Cameron’s fairytale wedding was set to take place in the stunning Lorton Valley, surrounded by the Lakeland Fells. Like many brides, Caroline was so upset when they had to cancel their plans due to the pandemic. It was Cameron’s idea that rather than cancel the wedding altogether, they could still be married on the same date at Hinckley Registry Office and have their photos in their dream location in the Lakes.
The Big Day
Although it’s not what they originally had planned, Caroline told us “It was just perfect.” It didn’t rain (although they were prepared just in case it did!) They had their photos at Skelwith Bridge with their 2 four legged babies, which was extra special as it was where Cameron proposed.
Caroline’s Dress Me Pretty Experience
“Jodie was lovely and helped me decide what I liked and wanted. It was the very first dress I tried on and when I’d put it back on after trying the rest, I cried! I just knew it was the one.”
Caroline wore our Albetza dress by WToo. She told us “I absolutely loved it, it made me feel amazing and Cameron loved it too.”
