An Intimate Wedding at a Contemporary Local Bistro on the Border of Leicestershire / Warwickshire.
Georgia and Jordan met through friends at a party almost 6 years ago. Jordan proposed on a lovely dog walk, just the two of them.
Their dream wedding was due to take place at Prestwold Hall, a stunning grade I stately home in the heart of the Leicestershire Wolds. The pandemic meant they had to change their plans and postpone the wedding from June to October.
The restrictions changed just two weeks before their day which meant they could only have 15 guests instead of 30. Georgia and Jordan changed the venue to Barnacles, a local restaurant/bar where they had enjoyed many meals as a family. There was a lovely room, the perfect size for their 15 guests set in a Victorian brick building in rural grounds.
Despite the initial stress, their day turned out to be perfect, apart from some family members missing. They do hope to be able to party with the rest of the family one day, so they can celebrate again.
The Big Day
Georgia told us she felt a little bit nervous but mostly excited. “There wasn’t much pressure on the day as it was such an intimate day in the end” She told us, “The only thing missing was a few more family and friends that weren’t allowed to be there due to the restrictions.
Georgia’s Special Memory of the Day
“Saying I do, having our son as our page boy who looked adorable and stole the show and spending a lovely day with my family.”
Georgia’s Dress Me Pretty Experience
“It was fab and so much easier than I imagined. The girls were so helpful and made it so stress free.”
Georgia wore our Beautrice dress by Essense of Australia. She told us “She said “I felt wonderful in my dress, it fit me perfectly and was everything I wished for in a dress.”
