Jess & Farren’s Wedding

A Rustic Wedding in the Heart of the Charnwood Forest

Jess and Farren used to work together. Their work friendship blossomed and in Spring 2019 they were married at The Old Stables in Swithland. They wanted somewhere local, intimate and with lots of character. The old beams, exposed brick and fairy lights made it just perfect for them.

The Proposal

On Christmas Day 2018 Farren proposed. Jess’ grandparents had passed away and she wanted to spend the last Christmas at their house with her parents before it was sold. Farren turned up and surprised her. She told us “It was like her grandparents were present and watching on. So beautiful and thoughtful. Her last memory of a special place is such a happy one.”

The Big Day…

Jess told us she felt amazing and so happy on her wedding day. She wore our Coco dress by Essense of Australia and said she felt like a princess.

Jess’ Special Memory of the Day

Jess told us how she and Farren sat down at the top table and took a moment to just soak in the atmosphere. “it was amazing, everything had come together and was even more beautiful than I could have imagined.”

Jess’ Advice for Brides to Be

Take a moment, just you and your husband to just soak everything in, the day goes so fast.
