Tell us about your proposal
We always spoke about it and looked at rings together but I knew he went and designed a ring for me. We went to Hambleton Hall which holds a very special place in our hearts. I knew it was coming but when we had our meal and he told me to get my coat as we’re getting ready to leave, I was very confused. Luckily, he did propose there!
How did you feel on your big day?
I was calm the whole week but on the day, I was super nervous and emotional.
What’s your special memory of your wedding day?
That both our families came together to share this day with us and saying our vows to each other.
Tell us about your Dress Me Pretty experience
Super easy and I wish I could experience it more! I first visited the shop when I attended the bridal catwalk shows to view the dresses. There I saw the dress on the mannequin window and knew I had to try it on. I tried on so many lovely dresses there but knew that was the one for me! They made the whole experience stress-free and it was an amazing memory to try dresses on with my mum, grandma and mother-in-law and then picking up the dress with my bridesmaids.
What’s your advice to future bride-to-be’s
Don’t stress if not everything goes to plan or the timings are off. I was stressed about running behind on the timings for the day but no one noticed so I wish I was more in the moment as everyone enjoyed themselves.
