There really is no comparison!! I guess it’s like most things in life ‘you get what you pay for’. The fabrics and embellishments used on our designer collections are far superior to some of the ‘cheaper alternatives’ out there and that’s without mentioning ‘the fit’. When you put on one of our dresses they make you feel incredible and the structure sits in just the right places. Congratulations! So, you have the ring on your finger and you have set your date and chosen a venue. Now it’s time for the really fun part of your wedding planning – finding THE DRESS! Dress Me Pretty will offer you an experience like no other – starting with a free telephone consultation – with our expert team offering advice and styling every step of the way. We understand that this is the biggest clothing purchase you are ever likely to make. We love to listen to you and work with you. We are confident that you will find your ‘one’ with us! We are often told by our brides that we make finding your dress easy, fun and memorable, which makes us happy!
Our bridal appointments last 1 hour. It is very normal to find your dress in your first Dress Me Pretty appointment.
At Dress Me Pretty, we tailor appointments to you, listening to what you want the whole time. Our highly trained team will guide you through your appointment, including helping you in and out of the dresses in our luxurious fitting rooms. We can normally tell what sort of dress will suit you best as soon as you step through the door, but we like to work with you and accommodate your ideas to make sure that you feel incredible! Nothing phases us at Dress Me Pretty and we love nothing more than the ‘that’s the one’ tears that invariably happen when you find your dream dress – you won’t want to take it off, and that’s how we know!
Lightly coloured or nude underwear is best, and a strapless bra if you have one, but don’t worry too much. Remember that between dresses you will (excuse the pun) briefly be in just your underwear, so wear knickers that you feel totally comfortable in. We have shoes in the boutique for you to borrow, but please do bring your own with you if you wear them regularly and plan to wear them on the day, just to give you the same posture. And you should wear your hair up if that’s what you plan, too.
We ask that you don’t use fake tan or heavy scents before trying our gowns on. We take pride in keeping them in great condition for each bride that comes through our doors.
We like to stock a wide range of dresses for a wide range of budgets, and have carefully selected our gowns so that there is something for everyone. Our made to order dresses start at around £1299 and go up to £3999.

You can bring up to 3 guests to your bridal and collection appointments. Please don’t attempt to bring more people as we wouldn’t like anyone to be disappointed.

When you find ‘the one’, we will ask that you make a 50% first payment. The balance will be due when your dress arrives into Dress Me Pretty. If you buy a dress in one of our sample sales, we will need full and final payment from you, and for you to take it with you there and then. Accessories are paid for in full at the time of ordering.

This really depends on which designer collection your dress is from, but we normally say to allow four to nine months.
We recommend that alterations are made six to eight weeks before your big day. These are not included in the price of the dress but we have a seamstress we can suggest to you.
Our dress samples range in sizes and are suitable for dress sizes 6 to 18.

Most of our brides find their dress in their first appointment with us. We suggest coming to us when you are ready to find ‘the one’.
