Tell us about your proposal
We got engaged at Ktima Lindos on 5th July 22. It was the perfect place, an absolute dream! The staff were amazing and Jake had arranged for the moment to be recorded by our waiter.
How did you feel on your big day?
Surprisingly confident! I was dreading walking down the aisle but I told myself to be strong, forget the formalities and see it as a celebration of Jake and I. And now, I wish I could do it all over again! I felt amazing in my dress, hair and make up. The entire weekend was magical.
What’s your special memory of your wedding day?
Being announced by our 10 year old niece into the wedding breakfast to everyone waving their napkins to Kasabian – Club Foot (we are Leicester City fans). I cried!
Tell us about your Dress Me Pretty experience
Jaya was the first dress I tried on, after seeing it on Instagram, and I said yes on my first appointment! Jade was so respectful and friendly.
What’s your advice to future bride-to-be’s
Everyone said this to me and I thought ‘of course I will!’ …but I forgot this advice and some details are a bit of a blur! The advice is, slow down and take it all in! All of the small details you have been planning for so long. I felt so obliged to constantly walk around to speak to guests. I feel like I missed out on appreciating all of the details, especially the flowers!
