Tell us about your proposal

Derek proposed in Barcelona by the magic fountains at night in the rain.

How did you feel on your big day?

Excited! No nerves just really happy.

What’s your special memory of your wedding day?

Laughter! The day was filled with laughter from ourselves and our guests having the most amazing day. It was the hottest day of the year so far! However this caused our cake to collapse in the heat. But our wedding co ordinator was amazing and managed to salvage it! Oh and the groom forgot the rings! Luckily a family member drove to our house and retrieved them just in time! It made for funny anecdotes in the speeches!

Tell us about your Dress Me Pretty experience

Simply lovely! Everything about my experience was amazing. It’s the little personal touches that help make a difference, such as your name on the mirror and the little goodie bag. I loved how intimate and personal the service was.

What’s your advice to future bride-to-be’s

Something will probably go wrong. You can’t control everything. Just enjoy the day and don’t let the little or big things bother you. The guests probably won’t even know something hasn’t quite gone the way it was suppose to. The day goes so fast! So find little pockets of time just for you and your to be!
